I like this picture of a perfectly undamaged orb of glass. Just the foreshadowing of it being shattered into slivers by a Wii remote gets me all tingly.
"Playing tennis on the Wii requires a lot of space. Clearly I didn't have enough space for playing tennis. The Wii remote control is fine, no scratch at all. My friend just lost a game of tennis to his wife. Then he played against the computerplayer - and didn't wanted to lose against it.
My lamp came in the way. Now it looks like a cheap version of the deathstar.." -Claus
I don't want to be too critical of Claus's storytelling abilities, but I could have used more information on how his friends fingers are doing. Surely you can't put your fist through that ball and think you can get away from it without a scratch.

Rumours are rife right now that Resident Evil 4, considered by many to be the best of the Resi series, may be coming to our beloved Nintendo Wii. “So what?” I hear you say. “I played that back on the Gamecube ages ago.” Chances are, if you owned a cube, then this is the case. But just think about it for a second. Imagine what the Wii could do for this game. Imagine targeting those crazy villagers with your wiimote instead of your old controller. Imagine two Resident Evil Wii games on your shelf instead of one (Umbrella Chronicles coming soon). Imagine brandishing a pitchfork just like the crazy mob using the Wii’s wand set-up. Who knows, it could just happen. There’s been no formal announcement from Capcom, no leaked information, nothing. All these rumours are going on — as far as I can tell — are three little web listings. But it’s enough for me. GameStop, Sofmap and GoNintendo have all either listed or reported on listings of the Wii version of this game recently. That’s Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition available for preorder on those sites over in the States. Three separate listings. What do you think? Personally, I’d say that it’s only a matter of time till this is confirmed. Bring it on! |

Lumme, who’d have thought we’d see the day when Nintendo and Sega teamed up to make a joint Mario and Sonic game? It’s called Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games, and will be out before Christmas for Wii and DS.
Sega is publishing the game in Europe and North America, while Nintendo will handle Japan. The game will see Mario and Sonic competing in various Olympic events, including sprinting, swimming and table tennis.
